A bracelet with a heart charm or a necklace with a heart pendant. Think I would stay away from rings – you don’t want to send the wrong message right now.

Does she have a favorite perfume? You could go that way as well.

Or surprise her with flowers then take her out to dinner at her favorite place (if you go this route make reservations now for restaurant and place your flower order early as this is a very busy day for both florist and restaurant).

Since she is just a friend ,as of now, it would be better if you keep it light. Else, it would be even more obvious to her. Get her some pretty flowers along with something like a heart shaped bracelet charm for Valentine’s Day. That way, it will be easy for you to hang out with her without letting the cat out of the bag!
